  1. Helen, I’m so glad you’re back blogging. If it wasn’t for blogging I wouldn’t have met you. Consider me a regular here.
I think ‘do come in’ is a wonderful name for a book, too.

  2. i think stats counters are kind of meaningless these days because for example, I read all your blog posts in my email so I don’t get counted as a visitor… this applies to lots of people I think. I don’t really pay much attention to my own blog stats anymore. I reckon you can count on there being more readers than you stats tell you.

  3. hello helen! i too am so pleased to be able to check in with your blog again. i really did miss it while you were away. and maybe it’s just that i’m getting older…. but i think a thoughtful blog is far superior to the facebook/twitter feed…

    1. Yeah, I find FB kind of obnoxious and annoying, but so many of my friends don’t live in PN that it is a good way to keep up with them. I still like blogs, too, & yours is a source of constant comfort & inspiration, Melissa. x H

  4. Hi Helen, it is lovely to see you back blogging. I hope you are getting a few more creative ‘snatches’ of time this week. I can totally relate to the feelings you shared on the school holiday front. Look forward to catching up sometime.

    1. Hi Rick! Thanks for saying Hi! I’m am a huge admirer of your art and the way you live with your family, & get a lot of inspiration from you, too. Isn’t the internet terrific how the distance between New Zealand and Grand Rapids, USA doesn’t have to mean so much? Have a good day. Helen

  5. I’m a few days late, but hi! I’m enjoying your new blog. How are you finding it. Is it making you more… conscious? Bringing things in your life more into focus while you think about them as potential blogging topics? Blogs can be good like that. And bad like that.
