It’s nearly the shortest day already, yet we’re still enjoying the tail-end of autumnal things…I didn’t grow this stuff, it was all gifted from family and friends.

My favourite things to do with fresh walnuts are biscuits with dark chocolate and big walnut pieces; throwing whole walnuts into our homemade muesli; or making fat ribbons of parpadelle pasta and having it with a walnut, olive and cream sauce. Yum!
yum! i love that autumn bounty… i think it’s my favourite time of the year (food-wise, that is.)
