Things lately…

Fraser made his to-die-for yeasted Chelsea buns. He only makes them once a year. They took several hours to make and the whole batch consumed in less than fifteen minutes. (I’ll blame the children, although I may have helped a little bit….)


I saw this on a wall in a cafe. Isn’t it lovely? If I ever have my own yoga teaching space I’d love to have something like this on the wall…


I made a cushion shaped like the cat head. Of course the only natural thing to do with it next was to take a self-portrait as a cat:


My friend David Merritt found an old accounts book in a skip in Oamaru. It was only a third full so now he uses it as his accounts book. I love the old copper-plate hand-writing:

Look at this Dalmation-fur outfit with matching tights – this was in the window of Hunters & Collectors! I hope someone buys this outfit and does the full-dalmation look…
