I’m an experienced teacher and community educator.
I have tutored creative writing in the School of English & Media Studies at Massey University since 2004-present day. At Massey I have taught poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, academic writing and creative processes.
I also teach yoga, meditation and various expressive arts. I run day-retreats for women which involve reflective exercises and restorative practices.
I have taught various writing workshops in public libraries to all ages from primary school to adults.
I’m a trained Secondary school teacher and have taught high school in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
